Printing your Certificate
PRINTING YOUR CERTIFICATE
1. Click the "View Certificate" link next to your song listing in the search results to see and print your certificate.
2. In "Print Preview" and "Page Set Up" click on "Remove Header and Footers", or delete these manually, to remove the webpage details from appearing on the top and bottom of your certificate.
3. In "Print Preview" and "Page Set Up" use the Margin controls to adjust the margins and center the certificate if this is necessary. Every printer browser combination is different and you may need to adjust these settings to get the certificate to appear exactly as you wish.
4. Print on the paper of your choice.
TIP: Try using different types of paper for different effects. There are special certificate papers available and some have attractive borders pre-printed onto the paper. We have kept our border very simple so that this will not clash with these designs. Please note that it is possible to remove or change the border and even change colours and other details by saving and editing in Word.
LAYOUT PROBLEM? In some cases, for example if you have unusual computer settings or in cases where names, song titles etc are longer than average, this may effect the layout and you may need to use the "Resize" facility in Print Preview to get a good result. Try resizing to 90% or experiment with different sizes.
USE YOUR CERTIFICATES
TIP 1: Use your certificates as proof of copyright registration when submitting songs to publishers, artists, agents etc.
TIP 2: If your song is online link to SongCopyright.org so that interested parties can check and verify your registration and view your certificate.
